Regenerate Test Tickets

A student’s assigned domain (LAS Links) or test components (PreLAS) can be reset if needed by using the regenerate test ticket function. For example, if an accommodation was not applied to the student’s profile before testing began, the domain or test component may need to be regenerated so the student can test with the appropriate accommodation.

Regenerating a test ticket permanently deletes any previously recorded responses for the selected domain (LAS Links) or test component (PreLAS). A new password is generated for all domains assigned to a student’s test ticket within the selected registration.

To regenerate the subtest, users must have the “Test Ticket – Regenerate” permission. If you are unable to regenerate a student subtest and therefore their test ticket, please check with your School or District Point of Contact (POC).

  1. Select Test Management from the DRC INSIGHT Portal My Applications menu.
  2. Select your district and school from the Select-a-Site drop-down menu, then click Save.
  3. Confirm or select your Registration Window in the drop-down.
  4. Select Registered Students from the left side bar menu.
  5. From Registered Students, search for the student using the search bar.
  6. Select the vertical ellipses (three vertical dots) in the Action column for the domain you wish to regenerate.
  7. Select Regenerate Test Ticket.
  8. A pop-up message will appear asking you to confirm the regeneration of the test ticket. Any responses previously captured for that domain will be deleted.
  9. Select Submit to confirm and regenerate the test ticket. A new password will be generated for all domains for the selected student, and any responses previously captured for that domain will be deleted.
  10. Repeat this process for any additional domains that need to be regenerated or reset. A new password is generated for all domains assigned to a student’s test ticket within the selected registration. Use the most recently generated password to access all assigned domains (LAS Links) and/or test components (PreLAS).
