Viewing a Student’s Assessments and Registrations

There are two ways to view a student’s assessment and registration information.

Note: Registrations cannot be edited from within Student Management. If you need to make changes to a student’s registration, please use method 2.

Method 1: Using Student Management

Users with the “Participant – Search/View” permission can search for and view a student record in Student management. From within the student record, users can navigate to the assessments tab to view assessment and registration details.

  1. Select Student Management from the DRC INSIGHT Portal My Applications menu.
  2. Select your district and school from the Select-a-Site drop-down menu, then select Save.
  3. Confirm the correct Academic Session is selected in the Academic Session drop-down.
    Note: This will default to the current year.
  4. Select the appropriate Testing Program (LAS Links or PreLAS Online) from the filter on the left side of the screen.
  5. Use the filters on the left to search for a specific student.
  6. Select the student you wish to view from the list that populates to open the Student Details.
  7. Select the Assessments tab.

From the Assessments tab, users can view the assessments for which the student is registered and the registration status information.

Method 2: Using Test Management

Users with the “Registration – Search/View” permission can search for and view registrations in test management.

  1. Select Test Management from the DRC INSIGHT Portal My Applications menu.
  2. Select your district and school from the Select-a-Site drop-down menu, then select Save.
  3. Confirm or select your Registration Window in the drop-down.
  4. Select View Registrations from the left sidebar menu.
  5. Use the filters on the left to search for a specific student.
  6. Select the Registration Name to view the Registration Details.

Users with the “Registration – Search/View” and “Participants – Search/View” permissions may also use the Registered Students tab to quickly locate students and their registrations by searching Name, ID, or Assessments. Those with appropriate edit permissions may also be able to quickly perform test actions from this page like printing test tickets, updating accommodations, or assigning testing codes.
