Update Registrations for Test Monitoring

From Test Management in WIDA AMS, you can update Test Monitoring for multiple registrations at once. Users will need the “Registration – Add/Edit” permission to update test monitoring. If you are unable to perform this action, please refer to your District Test Coordinator.

Important: Test Monitoring can only be assigned at the registration level, and there is no option to assign it to individual students within a registration. Any Test Monitoring changes will apply to all students in that registration.

Update Test Monitoring for Multiple Registrations

Users can enable or disable Test Monitoring for multiple registrations easily from View Registration(s) in Test Management.

  1. Select Test Management from the WIDA AMS My Applications menu.
  2. Confirm or enter your site criteria in the upper right corner. Select Save.
  3. Confirm or select your Registration Window in the drop-down. Make sure to select the correct year.
  4. From View Registration(s), locate the registration you wish to view or edit. You can use filters to narrow your search.
  5. Select the checkbox next to the registration(s) you wish to update Test Monitoring.
  6. Select the Update Test Monitoring button on the top right side of the results table.
    • Change the Test Monitoring drop-down to None if you want to disable Test Monitoring for the selected registration(s).
    • Change the Test Monitoring drop-down to Required if you want to enable Test Monitoring for the selected registration(s).
  7. If Test Monitoring is set to Required, turn the Restricted Access (Waiting Room) toggle On or Off.
  8. Select Save.

Update Test Monitoring for a Single Registration

Users can enable or disable Test Monitoring for a registration from within the Registration Details.

  1. Select Test Management from the WIDA AMS My Applications menu.
  2. Confirm or enter your site criteria in the upper right corner. Select Save.
  3. Confirm or select your Registration Window in the drop-down. Make sure to select the correct year.
  4. From View Registration(s), locate the registration you wish to view or edit. You can use filters to narrow your search.
  5. Select the Registration Name to view the Registration Details. Select the Edit Registration button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
    • Change the Test Monitoring drop-down to None if you want to disable Test Monitoring for the registration.
    • Change the Test Monitoring drop-down to Required if you want to enable Test Monitoring for the registration.
  6. If Test Monitoring is set to Required, turn the Restricted Access (Waiting Room) toggle On or Off..
  7. Select Save.
