Cloning a form allows you to use a pre-existing form and apply edits without editing the original form. You cannot clone forms in the Inactive or Invalid status.
To clone a form, do the following:
- Select a content area from the Content Area dropdown.
- Search for the form you want to clone.
- Select Clone by clicking on the vertical ellipsis
from the Actions dropdown menu, or click on the Form Name to open the Edit Form page and click Clone. - Enter a new Form Name.
- Continue editing the form as you would normally.
- When you are done editing the form, do one of the following:
- Click Publish if you are creating a Final form and the form is ready for use. The form status will change to Published and you will not be able to edit the form.
- Click Save if you want to save all of your information and keep the form in Draft status to continue editing.
- Click Cancel to exit editing the form and discard any unsaved changes. The form status will remain as DRAFT and will contain any previously saved information.
