Complete a Standard Assessment

Last Updated on May 13, 2026

A Standard Assessment is a performance task assessment aligned to the Washington K-12 Learning Standards in English language arts (Grades 3-8 and 10), mathematics (Grades 3-8 and 10), and science (Grades 5, 8, and 11).

Each standard is assessed through the administration of a Performance Task related to the key knowledge and skills of the standard. The Performance Tasks for each standard (5 items) are available at three different complexity levels (More Complex, Intermediate Complex, and Less Complex) to provide students a continuum of entry points along which to show their knowledge and skills aligned to the Washington K-12 Learning Standards.
