If an assessment has been flagged with an alert, it will be placed in the Alerts tab. There are two reasons an assessment can be flagged with an alert: sections of the assessment were left unanswered/blank, or because of a submission error.
Clear an Alert for Blank Sections
If a section of an assessment is left unanswered it will be flagged as Blank Section in the Type column of the Alerts tab.
To clear an alert for unanswered/blank sections of an assessment, do either of the following in the Alerts tab:
Resume Assessment
- Click on the Student Id to open the assessment and click Resume Assessment.
- Answer the the unanswered/blank section, or click Skip at the beginning of the section if applicable.
- Click Submit to Scoring once the unanswered section is completed.
Clear Alerts
- Check the box next to the Student Id you for which you want to clear an alert.
- Click the Clear Alerts button.
- Click Submit to Scoring to submit the assessment for scoring. Or click Do Not Submit to set the assessment status to Ready to Submit and submit the assessment at a later date.
Clear a Submission Alert
If a transmission issue occurs while submitting an assessment it will be flagged as Submit Error in the Type column of the Alerts tab.
To clear a Submit Error alert for the assessment, do the following:
- Check the box next to the Student Id you for which you want to clear an alert.
- Click the Clear Alerts button.
- Click Submit to Scoring to submit the assessment for scoring. Or click Do Not Submit to set the assessment status to Ready to Submit and submit the assessment at a later date.
