This topic explains how to display and create rosters. You also can import a roster.
Display and Filter Rosters
Click the Rosters tab to display the rosters to which you have access. On the left side of the window, you can filter rosters by owner and/or subject. Use the Filter By selector to filter by Roster Name / Description, Student Name, or LASID. Select one or more Grades to limit the roster search to specific grades.
Create a Roster
- Make sure the proper school is selected at the top of the Rostering window. This is the school for which the new roster is created.
- On the Rosters tab, click the Create Roster button. The New Roster window displays. Complete the fields on the window as follows:
- Roster Name: Enter a name for the roster.
- Owner: Select the roster owner. Note: The roster owner is the Test Administrator to which you want to grant access to the student data and test results.
- Subjects: Select the applicable subject(s).
- Description (optional): Enter a description for the roster.
- Click the Save and Continue button.
- On the Students List tab, click the Add Students button. The Add Students tool displays.
- Use the filters to help you find students. Use the checkboxes to select the students.
- When all students are selected, click the Add button. The Add Students tool closes and you are returned to the Students tab.
- Click Done.
Delete a Roster
From the Rosters tab, you can delete one or more rosters.
- Select the checkbox next to each roster you want to delete.
- Click the Delete button. A warning message displays, indicating that deleting a roster cannot be reversed.
- Click Delete to confirm the deletion or click Cancel to close the message without deleting the selected roster(s).
You can delete an individual roster when you are viewing it. Note: To view a roster, click on the roster from the Rosters tab.
- Click the Delete button from the Details tab. A warning message displays, indicating that deleting a roster cannot be reversed.
- Click Delete to confirm the deletion or click Cancel to close the message without deleting.
