This topic describes student accommodations and the two methods for editing accommodations to multiple participants at once.
Georgia Milestones Testing Accommodations
Human Reader/Human Signer Items and Passages (Conditional) for ELA only
Student takes the test online, but the test is read out loud by a human reader or signed by a human reader.

- Results in conditional administration
For students with the Human reader/signer accommodation, System Test Coordinators will be able to provide Examiners access to an online test form the Examiner can use when reading or signing the test. Documentation for System Test Coordinators describing how to access this form will be posted to the Portal Secure Documents no later than the first day of the state test window.

Video Sign Language (VSL) Items Only (Standard)
Student has the online test signed to them in American Sign Language (ASL) during testing.
Audio Text-To-Speech Items and Passages (Conditional) for ELA only
Student has the online audio test read to them during testing.

Audio Text-To-Speech Items Only (Standard)
Student has the online audio test read to them during testing. Includes test items only.
Braille (Transcription form only)
Student tests using a paper Braille test book, but the student’s responses are transcribed into an online
test.
Scribe (Transcription form only)
Student tests using a paper test book, including Large Print, but the student’s responses are transcribed into an online test.
Color Chooser
Student can choose a different background color for the test.

Update Accommodations via Accommodations Import File
If you want to update accommodations using the Accommodations Import File, see Importing Accommodations (requires that you have the Import Management permission). Note changes to all accommodation types update based on testing status per Registration Window.
Update Accommodations in Participant Management
- Select Participant Management from the My Applications menu.
- Select a site by clicking Select a Site …, then select or confirm your Academic Session.
- Select the appropriate Testing Program from the filter on the left side of the screen.
- When the participant list populates, use the filters to narrow your selection so you can easily make your multiple participants selections.
- Use the checkboxes to select multiple participants, then click the Update Accommodations button.
- Choose the button to Assign or Remove Accommodations.
- You can search for a specific accommodation, or scroll through the list to find your selection. Once you find the appropriate accommodation(s), use the checkboxes to indicate your selection(s).
- Click Update to apply the accommodation updates to the selected participants(s).
