Some students do not submit their online test when they are done testing (i.e., the test ticket status remains ‘In Progress’ or ‘Locked’). In these cases, the DTC may unlock the test ticket. Then, the STC may have the student log back into the test and ‘End Test/Submit’ it, ensuring the student does not return to any test questions when doing so.
If the student is unavailable to submit the test, the DTC may use the ‘End Incomplete Test’ button to ‘Force Submit’ the online test.
Users need the Test Tickets – End Incomplete permission to force submit tests. There are two methods for Force submitting tests.
Method 1 : End Incomplete tests by participant from View Registrations
- Select Registration from the My Applications menu.
- Confirm or enter your site criteria in the upper right corner. Click Save.
- Note: A School must be selected to export registration details.
- Confirm or select your Registration Window in the drop-down. Be sure to select the correct year.
- Select the View Registration(s) tab.
- Click on the Registration Name for which you want to unlock locked tests.
- Click the vertical ellipsis (three dots) in the Action column and click End Incomplete for each participant.
Method 2: End Incomplete tests by participant from Registered Participants
- Select Registration from the My Applications menu.
- Confirm or enter your site criteria in the upper right corner. Click Save.
- Note: A School must be selected to export registration details.
- Confirm or select your Registration Window in the drop-down. Be sure to select the correct year.
- Select the Registered Participants tab.
- Search for the participant by first name, last name, or SSID.
- Click the vertical ellipsis (three dots) in the Action column and click End Incomplete for each participant.
