Online Response Entry is where Test Examiners access the assessment script and enter student responses for each assessment form associated with Registrations. System or School Test Coordinators must complete the LCI for each student before they can begin any other assessment (see Complete a Learner Characteristics Inventory).
Assessment forms are categorized as either Not Started, In Progress, or Ready to Submit. The list below describes the information regarding each of these statuses:
Not Started
- Displays a list of assessment forms associated with Registrations that Test Examiners have not yet started.
- Once a user clicks Begin Assessment its status immediately changes to In Progress, even without responding to a question or saving and/or exiting.
In Progress
- Displays a list of assessment forms associated with Registrations that Test Examiners have started but have not yet completed.
- Assessment forms can be re-entered as needed.
- Once a user clicks Complete Assessment its status immediately changes to Ready to Submit.
Ready to Submit
- Displays a list of assessment forms that have been completed by the Test Examiner but not submitted for scoring.
- LCIs and assessment forms in Ready to Submit status can still be accessed and edited.
- All LCIs will remain in the Ready to Submit status throughout the testing window.
- LCIs and assessment forms with a Ready to Submit status will be submitted and scored at the end of the testing window.
