Please note that Test Administrators may not register a student for any Final forms that require a form update. Within Item and Form Management, this is noted with the label Update Available next to the Form Name. Test Administrators will only see Final Forms in Registration that are available to assign to the student. Forms with the label Update Available will not appear within Registration.
To register a student for a Published Final form, Test Administrators should do the following:
- Click Select a Site … and select your school by searching for your school’s name or code, then select Save. Click Cancel to make a different selection.
- Note: Once a site is selected the school’s name displays. Click the school’s name to select another district or school.
- On the Existing Student(s) tab, create a unique Registration Name. Using the student’s name in the Registration Name is recommended.
- Example: Standard for John Smith
- Click Select Student(s) and search for the student who will be taking the assessment.
- You can filter your search results by using the Search field in the Filter Panel to search for a student by first or last name or SSID. Use the Grades filter in the Filter Panel to see all students enrolled at a grade in the selected school..
- Click Add after you have selected the student. Click Cancel to select a different student.
- Click Select Form(s) and select the form(s) for the assessment in the window that displays. Use the Filter Panel to filter the list of forms by Content Area, Standard, Grade, and/or Access Point.
- Note: You may include all forms for all content areas on which the student will be tested in a single registration.
- Click Add.
- Click Register. You will see a confirmation message indicating that your Registration was successful. The forms you selected are now available in the Student Performance Data application as assessments, where Test Administrators will enter student results after administering Performance Tasks.
- Close the Registration Confirmation message. This registration will now appear under Existing Registrations. If this was the first registration created for the student, an SCS registration was also created automatically.
- Note: You will be prompted to complete a Student Characteristics Survey in Student Performance Data for each student before entering the student’s assessment results for any Performance Tasks.
