Form Status – Archived, Draft, Published, Invalid, Inactive

The table below outlines and details each Form Status. The Form Status depends upon where you left off when creating or editing the form.

Form Statuses
Form Status Status Details
Archived
  • Only published forms can be archived
  • The form is stored but unavailable for new registrations and assessments. Previous registrations and assessments reflect the original published version of the form
  • Can be cloned. The cloned form is initially in Draft status and must be renamed. The form can be edited. The archived version of the form is still stored
  • Cannot be deleted
  • Can be unarchived to be used again for assessments. An Unarchived form returns to Published status
Draft
  • Saves form information from autosaves or user saves
  • Is editable
  • Can be deleted
  • Can be cloned
Published
  • Cannot be edited
  • Cannot be deleted
  • Can be cloned. The cloned form is initially in Draft status and must be renamed. The form may be edited.
  • Can be archived. The form is stored but unavailable for new registrations and assessments. Previous registrations and assessments reflect the original published version of the form
Inactive
  • Teacher form that is set to inactive when the teacher account is deactivated
  • Cannot be deleted
  • Cannot be cloned
  • Can be moved back to Draft status
Invalid
  • Form that is set to invalid when an item on the form is archived
  • Cannot be deleted
  • Cannot be cloned
  • Can be moved back to Draft status
